JP uses his 20+ years of experience in marketing, strategy and management to develop winning strategies for our clients while maximizing budget, setting benchmarks and measuring the success of campaigns. Most importantly, JP educates our clients on online engagement marketing, helping to make success attainable, measurable and understandable.
Prior to founding The Marketing Distillery, JP co-founded KARMA Media Labs, a social media marketing agency, and led campaign tactics, strategies, analytics and business affairs in all aspects of content marketing, development and distribution. He has led initiatives on both the brand and agency side, having worked with Fanscape, Lollapalooza, Clear Channel Interactive, and General Mills. His client roster and relationships are deep and extensive, having led entertainment marketing efforts for AT&T, M&M Mars, MTV, A&E, FX, NBC, and lifestyle marketing for luxury brands Escada, Giorgio Armani, Joseph Abboud, Valentino, Emanuel Ungaro, Calvin Klein, Coach.
JP was a member of the Editorial board for WOMMA (Word-Of-Mouth Marketing Association) and has developed cutting-edge models to track, measure and assess the value of social media marketing campaigns while developing an expertise in all facets of social media marketing strategies.
JP emigrated from France at age 21 to get his MBA with a concentration in Marketing and Finance from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. He took his first job out of school with General Mills and has made the US his home since getting his citizenship in 1996.
Dave has over 25 years of experience in advertising, branding and marketing and leads The Marketing Distillery’s strategic, creative, and client service efforts. In this role, he creates marketing strategies that deliver results within the framework of our clients’ brands.
With a love of technology, media, and the use of design and messaging to solve problems, Dave has flowed from the client to agency side in creative, account, management, and strategic positions; including VP Creative at Balihoo Creative, General Manager at Oliver Russell, Director of Business Development at interactive agency Wirestone, and Managing Director at new media agency, Mediaphex.
Dave has worked with brands large and small that range from multinational corporations to local businesses. Past clients include Hewlett Packard, Cisco, Kohler, Dell, CCA Global, Weyerhaeuser, ConAgra Foods, Nobel Biocare, Albertsons, Dole Foods and J. R. Simplot.
Dave has a strong background in video as a writer, director and producer for online video, commercial work, long format and feature films. A native of the state of Idaho, Dave has a BS Marketing degree from the University of Idaho and was instilled into the classical marketing world with his first job with Procter & Gamble.
Lisa has more than 12 years of experience developing and executing cutting edge-online marketing strategies, as well as expertise in social media, CRM, advertising, ecommerce, branding. She brings this background – as well as her familiarity working both agency- and brand-side – to her role as VP of Client Services at The Marketing Distillery.
She recently worked at Warner Bros. Records, leading event-based marketing and ecommerce initiatives, and prior to that led the Online Marketing division at House of Blues Entertainment, live music’s most recognized brand. Lisa has worked with award-winning interactive agencies KARMA Media Labs, Fanscape and ADD Marketing & Advertising on behalf of a variety of clients, including Sony Playstation, AT&T, Lucasfilm, and Los Angeles Film Festival. Lisa’s trend forecasting work with The L Report has been featured in the The Tipping Point (“The Cool Hunt”), The New Yorker and CNN.
Lisa graduated summa cum laude from Emerson College with a B.S. in Journalism.
Ryan provides in-depth understanding of all technical aspects of site design and development. With knowledge and expertise in Drupal, PHP and iOS, Ryan can help create and customize a site to the needs of a client while optimizing for engagement, SEO, and conversion rate. Ryan has also extensive expertise with app development, as well as other mobile technologies. All this expertise derives from working for IBM for 5 years, then founding and growing ACandyStore.com. Ryan has driven the strategy, development, SEO and web building services for many Los Angeles- Hollywood-based celebrities.
Ryan graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BA in Finance.
Prior to joining The Marketing Distillery, Alli led the online creative efforts for many of the Walt Disney Company’s parks and resorts global marketing campaigns including the award-winning Disney Dreams Portrait Series by Annie Leibovitz. During her 15-year career, Alli has helped such brands as Yahoo!, Vera Wang and Lexus to envision and execute engaging online experiences. Other past and present clients include KARMA Media Labs, The National Cancer Institute at the NIH, CitySearch, Live Nation, Kenneth Cole, Neutrogena, Nautica, and Nicole Miller. She is also a co-founder of MyBridge4Life.com. Her work has been recognized by numerous awards including HOW, Webby, Web Marketing Association, and The International Web Page Awards.
Alli graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.A. Fine Arts degree.
